So here we are four years later after all the hard work, dedication, and all lighters and for some millions of coffee or monsters. Sitting through long classes and overcoming different fears while gaining different skills just for this moment. You made it, you’re finally moving on to graduate, and here are just some mental, physical and social tips to help with the process.
Let’s start with mental One thing you can do is have a sit down with yourself and if you haven’t come to the realization that you’re graduating right now’s the time, yell at the top of your lungs that you did it all cause you did and you deserve to feel good. Second, make sure that you know or have at least the smallest idea about what you wanna do after school because you didn’t just spend however many years in school to not show the world what you’re made of, you’re way too powerful and smart for that. Lastly, take a moment and think back to your favorite memories and how much they mean to you and all the good times you had, remember to be proud of this you did it no matter what others may have said.
Now let’s move on to physical, there are so many things you can do to physically prepare for graduation, One is to make sure that everything you need to graduate is in order ( of course) make sure your grades are where you want them to be or what’s required for you to graduate. Second, if you have a certain way you wanna look for graduation like a new hairstyle or maybe even a tattoo make sure you have everything ready for the day you actually go to get these things done. Lastly plan something,( please keep in mind we’re still in a pandemic so whatever you do make it covid safe) go somewhere with friends and just let it all out the hardships you went through, the best and worst times. Just everything really what does this mean to you to be graduating just celebrate this amazing achievement.
Also maybe make a graduation playlist cause who doesn’t love some good songs, some of my recommendations would be Graduation by Benny Blanco, We made it by Teyana Taylor, Congratulations by Post Malone, Right Back By Khalid and I’ll always remember you by Hannah Montana (yes Hannah Montana).
Now what does prepping for graduation and your social life have to do with each other, well allow me to explain this to you. With leaving this common life and entering a new one you don’t want to hold onto any ill feelings or have any social what-ifs so just do it now, So go tell that person you like that you like them or tell that person who you always admired that you admire them.
Hopefully, these tips and tricks can help you prepare for your next coming up in life, no matter what anyone said you did it you got through school in a pandemic it doesn’t matter how long it took you or which path you took just that you’re at the finish line with everyone else, together.
