“Birds of a feather flock together,” is a quote that I heard often growing up. Along with the verse Proverbs 27:17 which reads, “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” These two quotes are things I learned to live by at a young age, exemplifying the power that friends and people that I associate myself with could have on my life.
Over the course of my 22 years of life I’ve had my fair share of friendships; some have come and go and some I know will be here for a lifetime.
