Christmas is a blessed and often busy time of year. We all Cherish this special season; wanting to celebrate in a special way. Most would agree that noble and benevolent pursuits are the most valuable & important way to invest time at Christmas. I am writing today to suggest five things you can do (for free or almost free) this Christmas that will make your spirit bright!
READ TO THE ELDERLY: Find an assisted living facility near you and give them a phone call to set up a time when you can come and read Christmas stories to their residents. The elderly are often the most lonely people in our society Christmas can be a difficult time for them as many of their loved ones may have died; filling the Holiday with memories.
